Green Hydrogen (GH2)- Opportunities and Challenges for Sri Lanka

Hydrogen is gathering momentum as an energy vector toward global sustainability. Especially among the wide spectrum of different types of hydrogen, green hydrogen is taking a lead direction in the global energy sector paradigm shift. It will be a feasible and sustainable path even for Sri Lanka especially focusing power and transport sectors and many other opportunities including the industry sector.


Amid the global development in the green hydrogen sector, Sri Lanka is evaluating its position and potential to join with the rapid growth of this sector. Align with this national need, Sri Lanka Energy Managers Association (SLEMA) in partnership with Asian Development Bank is organizing an annual session focusing on Green Hydrogen - Opportunities and Challenges for Sri Lanka.
