The cost of green hydrogen is the biggest challenge in the industry being the price of electrolyzer is the bottleneck. However, with rapidly reducing price of electrolyer the cost of Green Hydrogen to fall for figures as $1/kg in some countries while it will be sub $2/kg for many countries.

(2) Gigawatt scale electrolyzer

France’s Engie and Abu Dhabi-based renewable energy business Masdar announce co-development of a UAE-based green hydrogen hub which is 2.3 billion euro ($2.6 billion) project where set up a green hydrogen facility with an electrolysis capacity of 1 gigawatt.

(4). Sinopec to invest $470 million in Green Hydrogen plant in Xinjiang

The Sinopec the PR China's largest oil refiner said recenly it had begun construction of a 20,000 tonsper-year green hydrogen plant in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region with an investment of nearly 3 billion yuan ($470 million).
