#1 Biden administration support Monolith Nebraska LLC

Biden administration supports Monolith Nebraska LLC with a $ 1.04 billion conditional loan guarantee for a green hydrogen project. Monolith works on Turquoise hydrogen project. At the moment they work on methane pyrolysis with 100% renewable energy where natural gas converts to hydrogen and carbon black. Unlike Steam Methane Reforming, the methane pyrolysis process does not emit CO2, it produces solid carbon and Hydrogen. Further, since they use 100% renewable source for heat which make the process more carbon neutral. And they want to go further and they are planning a step forward by switching to renewable natural gas as a hydrocarbon source for the pyrolysis process. The loan guarantee will speed up their progress and make sure 1000s of constructions jobs and 75 permanent positions.
